AlphaTheta built the DDJ-GRV6 to combine "cutting-edge creative control with club-standard interface." This 4-channel DJ controller is based on Pioneer's CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9 turntable-mixer combo. The DDJ-GRV6 features the Groove Circuit at its core.

Custom drums and rhythms may be switched, dropped, and rebuilt with ease, allowing you to create on-the-fly remixes and unequaled rhythmic designs. Add to that a suite of performance pads, Beat FX, stem separation, robust multi-device support, and compatibility with both Rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro.

Groove Circuit Controls

AlphaTheta's Groove Circuit can be imagined as a "dedicated, all-in-one suite of performance effects" for drums powered by recordbox.

With virtually any style or genre, the DDJ-GRV6's dedicated suite of Groove Circuit controls lets you remix, re-work, or completely replace partial or complete drum tracks. The Groove Circuit features four distinct tools: Drum Swap, Drum Roll/Trans, Drum Release, and Capture.

Ergonomic Design with Multimode Software Compatibility

For all the DDJ-GRV6's streamlined accessibility, the DJ controller's vast adaptability includes multimode software compatibility. DJs using rekordbox are given free rein on Mac and Windows but expanded operation with rekordbox for iOS and Android. With just your mobile device, the Groove Circuit is ready to roll wherever you go.

With its CDJ–DJM-inspired arrangement, AlphaTheta's DDJ-GRV6 features "an intuitive, versatile layout that's been ergonomically arranged" to maximize creative potential while maintaining a club-standard configuration. Its suite of Groove Circuit and Stems FX tools are placed on an elevated "step up" at the top of the controller. Between the two areas, you'll find each side hosts eight performance pads, just like the flagship CDJ-3000, that expand your performance capabilities with expressive, customizable per-deck sampling, one-shots, and more.
