MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
WarrantyThe warranty period starts on the date of the invoice and does not cover repairs resulting in the sole judgement of Abed Tahan from:
- Damage and shortcomings derived from unusual external factors such as a lightning strike or from natural disasters, misuse, incorrect or abnormal use
- Breakage, exposure to any liquid materials or damage due to intent or gross negligence
- Wrong installation or incorrect combination with other installed products
- Irregular power supply or use of products with faulty electric installation
- Repair by unauthorized persons outside the service center of Abed Tahan or outside the service center of our suppliers.
All our products are covered by a warranty.
The process of the “maintenance and repair” service differs depending on the brands.
We have 2 types of brands:
Abed Tahan private labels:
- Through carefully selected private label products, Abed Tahan offers attractive range of products for everyone. Our private label products offer both high quality and value for money. We strive to constantly develop our range of product and offer exciting new products in our stores by being receptive to our customers’ preferences and needs.
- Our private labels include: Superchef, Black and Decker, Sony, Idea, Wave, Flora, Blueberry, TCL, Gorenje and Mabe.
- The “maintenance and repair” service for these brands is free of charge for 1 year from the date of purchase as long as it meets the warranty conditions.
- The service will be scheduled within 24-48 hours of your call.
- If the 1 year time frame is exceeded and you need to place a maintenance visit, you will be charged 80,000 for the visit, in addition to any required spare parts.
- For small items like (mobile phones, personal care products, tablets etc..) you will be requested to bring the defected items to any of our branches or to the service center directly. Please check Workshop for more details
- We offer the highest quality of imported goods from the world’s leading brands, at the best possible price.
- The “maintenance and repair” service for these brands will be executed by the supplier for 1 year from the date of purchase.
- The service will be schedule within 72 hours.
- If the 1 year time frame is exceeded and you need to place a maintenance visit, our team of expert technicians and sub-contractors will perform the service, within 24 to 48hours of your call.
- In this case you will be charged 80,000 for the visit, plus the price of any required spare parts.
- For small items like (mobile phone, personal care products, tablets etc..) you will be requested to bring the defected items to any of our branches or to the service center directly. Please check Workshop for more details
- Items brought to our workshop under warranty
- You will be requested to send small items like mobile phones, personal care products, tablets and similar, to our service center. Items under supplier warranty will be sent to the suppliers, the period of service will be 7 working days. You will be informed of the fees before proceeding with repair by SMS. Once the item is ready for pick up, an SMS will be sent informing you of the pick up date including the service fees.
- Items brought to our workshop with no warranty or repair of our private labels outside the warranty time frame of 1 year: will be served in our service center within 7 working days. Fees will be shared before proceeding with repair and an SMS will be sent when the item is ready for pick up.
